Zach plays a key role at Walled Lake, focusing on building and nurturing both new and long-standing client relationships through his extensive financial planning expertise. He works closely with clients to continuously evaluate their financial situations and implement strategies for ongoing improvement. With a strong focus on the quantitative aspects of companies and markets, Zach has taken on the role of Chief Investment Officer. He leads investment allocation discussions and oversees the firm’s investment portfolios, including the dividend stock portfolio and the GARP (Growth at a Reasonable Price) portfolio, alongside the investment committee.

Professional & Personal Journey

A Purdue University graduate, Zach holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Finance. Since joining the team in 2006 during his tenure at RBC Wealth Management, he has lived across various states, including Illinois, Indiana, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Ohio, New York, Oregon, and Washington, and now calls Lake Forest, IL home. In his free time, he enjoys working out, reading non-fiction, and playing pickleball in leagues around Lake Forest and Highland Park. Zach is also an active volunteer in the Chicagoland area, contributing his time to local charities like United Way and Ronald McDonald House.
